Does anyone else get a really cool feeling inside when they think about how every single thing that exists is completely unique every single time. No matter the intention, on a small enough scale, everything is different from everything.

Ex. Each breathe you take is completely unique in terms of length, efficiency, sound, temperature, smell, satisfaction level…as long as you measure each of these on microscopic (really, much smaller than microscopic) levels.

I love wrapping my head around that piece of knowledge.

@kodo, feels nice and fuzzy for me, just because it expands infinity even further.

Absolutely. I am awestruck by the uniqueness of our world all the time. Of course, I am also amazed at the shocking universal truths that exist. I could write a book the length of 3 bibles- abridged version- on this topic. There is no possible way to summarize how complex it is. We have universal truths and astronomical differences, and this is because we are all made up of tiny, tiny particles and each series of particles makes something bigger and there are variations on those combinations, then it repeats with different bigger particles combining to make something else different and there are variations there and it just becomes feels endless. But this is also the same reason why we have universal truths connecting us. If we break everything down to the tiniest particles, we are all the same.

Why are some topics highlighted yellow…?

But yeah I think about this sort of thing all the time!
HOWEVER: as with everything, it has a flip side. (http://www.highexistence.com/thinking-within-paradoxes/) For if the multiverse truly is infinite, there are an infinite number of things that are identical down to the smallest details.

@sisyphus, Good question. I am really not sure (though I am flattered that my thoughts are highlighted ['Yay, fuel FOR MY EGOOOOOOOOOOOOOO' {jk}]).

Identical but not the same… if two items cannot occupy the same space at the same time, are they not unique? (I will peruse your link after I post this)

@swifti, I am just glad to be able to have people to ‘be’ with.

@lytning91, One of the many mysteries of HE…

I guess in that sense everything is unique. But how strange is it to think that an unimaginable distance from you, perhaps even another universe, there is a person that is exactly you. Every thought, experience, every possible thing about them is exactly you. And there’s an infinite number of them at that

@sisyphus, well I would like to think that, because that would then mean that if I could step outside of my current awareness of reality I would be able to view an infinite number of worlds. Almost…like a spirit…like the feeling people describe when exploring hallucinogens

@lytning91, Almost like a link between your countless selves? It’s actually a beautiful thought how completely unsure of anything we truly are. lol sorry I’ve kind of dragged this off topic

@sisyphus, That is the point, my friend. Those who wanna post on the OP can, those who are following the conversation’s path can join along with that as well.

People actually believe the theory I proposed. And you know…we really just can’t know. To think that by accessing my mind with an excess of DMT I could examine another world…maybe the spirit world, maybe a higher level, another universe of equal, yet opposite affect as out own.

I’m drooling, mentally and spiritually.

On the subject of uniqueness. It constantly amazes me how unique sex is. Every time is different even if you try to make it the same as before it doesn’t matter. It always feels different. Even if it’s with the same person over and over its never the same. I Think that’s amazing and makes having sex with the same person for your whole life completely doable. I don’t think it could ever get boring, but maybe that’s a bit of youth talking.

While all others are searching for some truths about the past or wondering about the future, can’t see what’s that everything’s already in front of them. It would be great if more people start practicicing it a little more and stop complicating their own lives, that’s just an abuse with existence. Nothing good ever comes out of complication, except simplifying it and sensing it for what it is.
