I have a theory! What if civilization before us was so advanced and large, that they began to cause the destruction of the universe and the only way to save it is to blow it up and create a new one? What if this is our destiny billions or trillions of years down the road? We must destroy ourselves in the end in order to save ourselves? Just a fun theory I have. Thought I’d share, what do you think? |

@iambrian, Correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems like the ‘universe’ you’re talking about is *your universe, your world, planet Earth. We’re an extremely tiny speck compared to the entire universe. My small mind can’t even consider the thought of the destrucion of everything that’s ever existed. Interesting post though. I’ll leave you with something interesting I found online…… http://krismanthabro.tumblr.com/post/33214219823 |

@jneggleston, Good point, Really interesting post about the Timewave Zero Theory. I have never heard of it but it’s quite interesting. Thanks! |

@venusgirl, Is it really? I mean, the universe expanded from essentially nothing(already wild). Who’s to say that one day we don’t accidentally create a black hole or anomaly that sucks up the entire universe into a singularity. The nuclear bomb was an incredible advancement in nuclear physics, imagine something of that power on a universal physics scale. I agree it’s very unlikely that it’s possible, we have no other universes to compare ourselves to, so I guess we’ll never really know if we got it right or wrong. I couldn’t rule it out, tho. |
