interesting, its a matter of what you need, do you need attention, or do you need answers. the former is destructive in nature and feeds a viscous cycle internally, the latter though, is different.

in the case of the latter, how will you learn if you are afraid to put yourself out there to ask, and, potentially be wrong?

simply, does said action build or destroy you? from this an answer can be deduced, individually unique to you

here is the path to loss of doubt, create a list of knowledge you wish to understand, go through said knowledge using your learning system (if you are unaware of how you learn, use this opportunity to learn how to learn), and in the process of this learning, you will find topics you wish to share with your amigos on HE, questions you wish to pose, and conclusions you wish peer review on.

this path reduces the need to ponder on what to say

@spiraltouch, Make a post where you teach or make a post where you learn. Its pretty obvious to me, but I’ve been browsing the internetz for most of my life.

Although you get all philosophically wishy-washy in the post, it seems interesting. But in reality you’re just looking for something to say. I wouldn’t be so harsh if the whole thing was worded differently, and your target was more clear; i.e. “Why do we post on the internet” or “Is posting self-centered?” or something similar.
