Those beats you posted are chill. They have a nintendo aspect to them, but IMHO they could use more of an edge. The nujabes mashup was satisfying and appropriate.

@jeo7, My midi keyboard is Emu-49, I’m using it for everything. For software I use Cubase 5 and a whole bunch of vsti’s. Sometimes I use Reason and ReWire since I have a huge library for it.

Anyway, my hand is up for being a musician!! Apparently i could read music before i could read english; but im not sure whether i buy it… haha
So yeah i’ve been in music as long as i can remember. I actually cannot imagine holding up a score and only seeing scribbles or whatever people see when they dont have a music background.
I’ve had lessons my entire life because my mum ran a music center while i was growing up so i was always exposed to it. Dabbled in a bit of everything but stuck to Piano, Saxophone and Voice. Picked up bass this year though! My first ever string instrument to learn… Improving slowly! It’s really weird playing it. I guess i just find it easier to use other instruments i’m more comfortable with like woodwind or the likes. Anyway, props if anyone wants to give me some extra bass lessons. I could use all the help i can get hahaha.
