It’s a close call for me, but I’ll have to go with Rumi. He says so much with so few words. “Make peace with the universe. Here’s a great source of his work: http://fuckyeahrumi.tumblr.com Share your favourites, with your favourite poem by them, if you like! |

Can a band count as a poet? Haha, La Dispute’s lyrics are so poetic and often spoken in their songs. They’re some of my favorite combinations of words. |

@brandonphillips, Their lyrics are defiantly poetry! I love how they write, the bands style is pretty in your face, but the words are great :) |

Charles Bukowski there is no way I could narrow it down to one poem let alone one book. He talks about life, depression, loneliness, the streets, being poor, working shit factory jobs, finding beauty in the most simple things in life. I love the way he can take such a brief moment in time and make it so concise. as of late i’ve been getting into d.a. levy and anis mojgani |

Bukowski writes some of the most depressingly beautiful poems. My personal favorite by him is “Bluebird.” I highly suggest you look it up |
