Who's going to try the new Remee Lucid Dreaming Mask?
This company claims to have developped a sleeping mask that enables you to lucid dream… think it’s legit? Anyone going to try them?
They should do something like this with music… to create music only with your mind… and listen to every perfect arrangement of frequencies you want to hear. One can dream.
it sounds interesting, i would try it if i they sent me it for free.
wow a headband with a timer and 6 led’s? I hope they don’t try to market it for very much… They’re coming out with consumer EEG headbands that pick up the electromagnetic static coming off your head. They should combine these two ideas and make 1 band that triggers when your brain starts getting active in REM.
@crackedout6pack, I think the initial starting price is going to be $95
Dude if its going to kickstart you on the path to self discovery its probably worth quite a lot more than that
should i say Self discovery.
I’ve heard that you can’t even notice or adjust the light levels in lucid dreams, that it’s always a static ‘lit’. That this will lead you on the path to self discovery is a big claim, I doubt it would even trigger lucidity. Any product that fills their website with colors and accessories and prices instead of research and reports is a scam imo.
Your mind loses itself when it falls asleep, even if the red lights pierced the dream, I’ve had music and smells and sounds seep into my dreams before and i’m no more likely to notice, my brain just rolls with it and the dream adapts. Even moments that I am lucid are so fleeting, I’m lost back in the dream usually by the next sentence a character spits out.
what if in the future there won
@seeker, What if you’re in one of those now?
What if it’s the FBI’s plot to infiltrate our dreams, pre-inceptionesque?
@biga69, then they probably wouldn’t have used Kickstarter to fund the project
@jordan, Ahahahaha! Waking life! love that :D
Anywho i call bullshit on that thing – seems to me they are just trying to patent your dreams now too ;P
There have been lucid dreaming masks before, such as the Novadreamer. They do work.
I know what you mean about cheating to get there, however that is like saying “using psychedelics to bring one closer to mindfulness and enlightenment is cheating”. Oftentimes we want to achieve something more when we see it. Kind of like visualization. Lucid dreaming is much easier after the first time; it’s a totally unfamiliar head-space for most ,so it’s difficult to tap into. The Remee helps that first time come sooner, and also spreads the idea of Lucid Dreaming to a wider audience which can include lazy people that won’t put in the effort to learn lucid dreaming naturally.
@jordan, yeah, what if that
This is awesome, can`t wait to try.. Just have to work up some cash first.. good shit
If this works, please notify the community of HE at once explaining your findings.
Otherwise, I got bills to pay, SON! (lol)
@crackedout6pack, Aw what the heck just try it man :) it’s all the mindset about lucid dreaming, you’re only as inorganic as you think you are. Some might say “aw it’s breaking the seal of natural lucid dreaming”, but then what about the people using laptops and that to find out information when in retrospect peopl eused books, people before books used communication and bla bla. Buy it if you have the dough and tell me if it works!
did anyone get it?
yeah, have anyone got it? Think im gonna go for it in september, when i get money.
You can get an i
Ok my computer tripped out then- what I meant to say was there are iPhone apps that claim to help in a similar way which would be just as effective (if either will really help ) you could end up just incorporating the lights into your dream though – has anyone heard their alarm in the morning and for a few minutes it’s been in their dream but you don’t click that your dreaming?
Been practicing lucid dreaming alot, and its fucking hard.. So I would love some help from this sleeping mask.. Worth a shot, I think :)
These don’t work very well, they usually just change your dream to include a flashing light. It’s also uncomfortable, not worth it.
Easy lucid dream induction:
